Legislation banning lottery betting providers passed both legislative houses in Australia Thursday and will come into force in six months.
The Interactive Gambling Amendment (Lottery Betting) Bill 2018 prohibits any service relating to betting on the outcome of a lottery, or betting on a contingency that may or may not happen in the course of the conduct of a lottery.
