BetMakers Technology Group has extended its reach in Asia with the successful deployment of its wagering infrastructure at Perak Turf Club in Malaysia.

Following an agreement signed in February, Perak Turf Club has now rolled out BetMakers’ Quantum Tote engine, alongside 70 teller machines, 15 self-service terminals and an analytics platform.

“BetMakers is repeatedly being recognised as critical infrastructure for world racing. We’re not just building racing software and hardware in isolation, we’re building racing’s backbone with a philosophy of one partnership to open up a global racing network,” said BetMakers CEO Jake Henson.

“In the case of Malaysian racing, we are proud to have demonstrated the impact that our technology can deliver, and have been delighted with the feedback about success in growing racing and returns to its stakeholders in that country.”

Lance Ku, international development manager at BetMakers, added: “This was more than a successful launch, it was a clear validation of our technology and the readiness of the local market. We’re proud to support Perak Turf Club as they enter their next phase of modernisation.”

Shares in BetMakers Technology Group (ASX:BET) closed 4.55 per cent lower at AU$0.11 per share in Sydney Tuesday.
