Sportsbook provider has been a partner of Malta-based Wildz Group since 2024

Sportsbook provider Altenar has agreed a deal to power Wildz Group’s entry into Finland’s regulated iGaming market.

Wildz was one of the first operators to confirm receipt of an online gambling licence in Finland and will launch when the market opens on 1 July next year.

Altenar has been a partner of Wildz since 2024, supporting the operator’s expansion beyond a casino-first model across numerous markets.

“Altenar has been central to the success of our global sports betting offering, and we anticipate a superb response in Finland once the market opens in July 2027,” said Wildz Group CEO Sam Brown. “With the flexibility of the Altenar toolkit we will be able to build an industry-leading sports betting experience for Finnish players”.

Dinos Stranomitis, chief operating officer at Altenar, said: “Finland’s move towards a competitive online gambling market represents an important development for the industry. Entering a new regulated market requires the right technology, flexibility and a clear understanding of local requirements.

“We are pleased to power Wildz Group’s entry into Finland and support its ambitions with sportsbook technology designed to adapt to different market conditions and business objectives.”
