Games studio expands its international reach with Lotto NZ launch
Swedish lottery provider Random State has gone live in New Zealand through Scientific Games’ SG Content Hub.
The supplier’s first eInstant games have been rolled out to players at Lotto NZ, including Marble Run and Sea Quest, bringing two different play styles to players in the market.
In Marble Run, the player chooses one of five marbles and watches the field race across a three-dimensional track of obstacles, speed boosts and multiplier bumpers.
Sea Quest uses an arcade-style timing mechanic, with players bursting bubbles as fish swim past and aiming to reveal three matching prize amounts.
“Players in New Zealand can enjoy two very different Random State experiences: Marble Run turns a simple choice into a 3D race, while Sea Quest combines arcade-style timing with a familiar match-three prize mechanic,” said Random State co-founder and chief operating officer Adam Fonsica. “That range is what we want to build on in this market.”
Scientific Games president of digital Matt Lynch added: “Marble Run and Sea Quest show the variety that partner studios can bring to a lottery’s digital portfolio through the SG Content Hub. These first two Random State titles give players in New Zealand distinct ways to play, with further content planned under the rollout.”
Random State joined Scientific Games’ global studio partner programme in 2024.
