Playtech has secured a new agreement to continue supplying online casino games to Norwegian monopoly operator Norsk Tipping.

The agreement follows a public procurement process by Norsk Tipping and further strengthens the long-term strategic partnership between Playtech and Norsk Tipping.

Playtech has supplied online casino games to the operator since 2017 and, through its Videobet subsidiary, has also maintained a long-standing partnership with Norsk Tipping for VLT platforms, games and services.

The new deal extends and expands the strong partnership, giving Norsk Tipping players access to games from Playtech’s in-house game studios, including Origins, Quickspin, Rarestone and Ash.

“Playtech content has consistently proven to be very popular with Norsk Tipping’s players, and this new agreement is a testament to Playtech’s strength and focus in the online casino markets of Norway and the Nordic region,” said Playtech commercial director Fredrik Sylvander. “Over the years, we have worked with Norsk Tipping, to gain a deeper understanding of the Norwegian online casino market and its player’s preferences.

“We are excited to have won this new public procurement to allow us to continue supplying our strong roadmap of content to Norsk Tipping’s players, with a strong focus on balancing great gaming experiences with responsible gaming.”

Norsk Tipping casino product manager Lars Martin Ottesen commented: “We are very happy to extend our partnership with Playtech once more and look forward to enhancing our partnership in providing casino content according to our ambitions.

“We are confident that Playtech’s proven expertise in a wide range of regulated markets, and the Norwegian market in particular, will continue to provide great value for Norsk Tipping and support us in our overall content strategy.”
