British bookmaker Fitzdares has confirmed that it will cease operations in Ontario’s regulated iGaming market at the end of March.
Account deposits at Fitzdares Sportsbook & Casino will no longer be possible from Monday (10 March), with no new bets to be taken from Tuesday 25 March.
Fitzdares will shut down operations at midnight on Monday 31 March, with this being the last day that customers can withdraw their funds.
“After serving our customers in Ontario for the past two years we have taken the difficult decision to exit the Ontario market,” said the operator.
Fitzdares is one of the UK’s oldest bookmakers and has been taking bets since 1882. The operator went live in Ontario in February 2023, powered by FSB Technology (now part of EveryMatrix).
