Global network solutions provider Continent 8 Technologies has launched the first cyber threat intelligence platform for the gambling industry.
The Threat Exchange will provide iGaming and online sports betting operators, platform providers and B2B gaming technology companies with real-time insights to proactively detect and share information on emerging threats, enhance incident response and deepen understanding of the threats facing the industry.
“Threat Exchange is changing the game, providing unrivalled visibility into the behaviours and tactics of threat actors. Leveraging our position as the industry’s cybersecurity partner, we are able to analyse vast and complex datasets and deliver the results in a clear, actionable format,” said Continent 8 chief security officer Patrick Gardner.
“Customers have consistently asked for greater intelligence and deeper analysis, and Threat Exchange is our response, a purpose-built solution designed to meet the unique security challenges of the iGaming and online sports betting industry.”
The launch of the new platform comes at a time of rising cyberattacks in the industry, with Boyd Gaming most recently suffering from an attack which saw hackers access internal IT systems and employee data.
