The annual event is held to recognise online gaming’s most talented, innovative and inspiring individuals and Rob Dowling, Pentasia Group CEO, is delighted the company are involved. “The Hot 50 aims to celebrate those individuals who are making a crucial contribution within the online gaming sector and Pentasia are delighted to support this event,” he said. “As a specialist recruiter to the gaming industry, the Pentasia Group is focused on the talented individuals that continue to innovate, strengthen and internationalise this sector. To be able to be part of an event that applauds some of the remarkable talent leading this industry forward is a privilege.”
The Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 is the only award that recognises the outstanding talent behind the industry’s most successful and promising companies, and where industry professionals nominate their peers for recognition.
“We received a huge number of nominations for this year’s Hot 50 and the final selection is testament to the achievements of all those included,” said Gaming Intelligence managing editor Bobby Mamudi. “We are also extremely grateful to our panel of judges who made the final selection, several of whom are themselves previous Hot 50 winners.”
The judging panel for the Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 of 2013 includes previous winners David Loveday, CEO of OpenBet; Jim Ryan, co-CEO of bwin.party; Nicky Senyard, CEO of Income Access; and Birgitte Sand, head of the Danish Gambling Authority. Also judging this year were Warwick Bartlett, chief executive of GBGC; Andrew Bulloss, director of Odgers Berndtson; Joe Brennan, president of iMEGA; Mark Davies, chief executive of Camberton; and Vaughan Lewis, executive director at Morgan Stanley.
“2012 was a year in which online gaming once again bucked global economic trends and much of this growth can be put down to the talent the industry has managed to assemble within its ranks,” added Dowling. “At Pentasia we will continue to contribute to the success of the sector in the year to come and we wish all those recognised by these awards continued success and good fortune in the future.”
The Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 of 2013 will be revealed on Tuesday February 5th at the ICE exhibition at ExCel in London, with a champagne reception in honour of the winners taking place that evening.
