Server-based gaming specialist and virtual sports supplier Inspired Gaming Group has signed a deal to become the exclusive supplier of virtual sports games to Nigerian sports betting operator 1960Bet.
The cross-platform deal will see Inspired supply 1960Bet with virtual sports content including virtual horses, virtual football and virtual greyhounds. The company’s current portfolio now includes nine virtual sports and four high-frequency numbers games.
1960Bet is Nigeria’s largest sports betting operator with over 600 betting shops, and also operates an online and mobile betting offering via 1960bet.ng and Betland.com.
Steve Rogers, Inspired’s managing director of Virtual Sports, said that the deal with 1960Bet was “indicative” of the on-going global expansion of the company’s virtual sports products.
“Virtual Sports are extremely popular around the world, especially in countries where sports betting is popular,” said Rogers. “We have no doubt that our products will perform well with the large number of sports betting fans in Nigeria.”
