Unibet Launches on Jadestone’s Backgammon Network

Jadestone, the Swedish owner and operator of the multiplayer skill games networks GamArena and DiceArena, has announced a further expansion of its backgammon network with the addition of gaming operator Unibet.

Unibet joins the likes of bwin, NordicBet, Betoto and Finland's Paf on the backgammon network which was launched in June of this year, with Betfair set to join the network next year.

Jadestone said that the addition of Unibet would help the network grow further in Europe, with even higher player liquidity levels.

"We've already seen that backgammon is a highly popular game with our existing network partners," said Tobias Nissen, General Manager of Jadestone Networks. "With Unibet now on board we aim to grow our online backgammon base significantly and to continue to lead the market. And with Betfair joining in the first half of next year we really will be the biggest backgammon game in town."

Jadestone's GamArena online skill games network is also available through Unibet, following a deal between the two companies in 2006.
