Greece’s Regency Casino Thessaloniki has unveiled a new year-round entertainment hub featuring games from leading slot developers Aristocrat Gaming, IGT, and Light & Wonder.
The Piazza Project features four gaming halls alongside dining and live entertainment and aims to blend cutting-edge gaming technology with cultural programming and an open-air lifestyle.
“The Piazza Project represents a significant investment that brings together Aristocrat Gaming, IGT, and Light & Wonder for the first time in a single European venue,” said Regency Entertainment CEO Yiannis Tsirikos. “We’re not just expanding our facilities – we’re creating a year-round entertainment hub that will attract visitors from across the region and establish Greece as a leader in the European leisure and gaming market.”
The IGT Pavilion includes a selection of over 50 video slots and poker games, including multi-level progressive (MLP) slots on the PeakSlant49 portrait screen cabinet and PeakSlant32 dual-screen cabinet.
“IGT is thrilled to partner with Regency Casino Thessaloniki’s ‘The Piazza Project’ to bring a compilation of highly entertaining slots games to players in Greece via a dedicated IGT Pavilion,” said Nick Khin, IGT’s CEO of Gaming. “The innovative concept presents a unique opportunity for players to conveniently enjoy many of IGT’s popular slots games in one place.”
The Aristocrat Pavilion showcases more than 50 top-performing titles, including Bao Zhu Zhao Fu Blast, Crazy Chickens, Ultimate Fast Cash, Phoenix Link, and Lucky Looters.
“We are incredibly proud to partner with the Regency Casino Thessaloniki team to bring to life this innovative gaming and entertainment experience that is the Aristocrat Pavilion at The Piazza,” said Aristocrat Gaming chief revenue officer Kurt Gissane. “We are all about bringing next-level experiences to our players, and this project is exactly that. Congratulations to all the teams involved, as this was truly a collaborative partnership from ideation to reality.”
Alongside the casino and Hyatt Regency hotel in Thessaloniki, Regency Entertainment also owns the Regency Casino Mont Parnes venue in Athens, and is developing a new €300 million hospitality and entertainment destination in the Northern Suburbs of Athens, scheduled to open in early 2028.
In addition, the company’s joint venture with SkillOnNet, Regency Casino Online, was recently granted an operating licence by the Hellenic Gaming Commission to launch a full suite of online gambling products in Greece.
