Malta-based CRM specialist Fast Track has confirmed that it suffered a cyber attack which affected two of its clients earlier this month.

The company said that the targeted attack affected two clients on the Fast Track platform and was halted soon after detection, with both clients notified of the incident.

Fast Track added that no other clients were affected by the breach and said it would release further details on the incident as they become available.

This is the latest cybersecurity incident to have hit the industry in the last three months, with Boyd Gaming most recently suffering from an attack which saw hackers access internal IT systems and employee data.

Another attack on the National Lottery of Luxembourg resulted in unauthorised access to player data, including names, addresses and bank details.
