Rank Group has warned that it will take a hit of €7.1 million in its results for the 2026 financial year after uncovering payment fraud in its Spanish businesses.
The Group said on Monday that it has been the victim of a payment fraud in the Spanish businesses Enracha and Yo and has reported the matter to the relevant law enforcement agencies.
Rank is supporting the law enforcement investigations while also conducting its own internal investigation with the help of an external law firm.
The €7.1 million impact of the fraud is expected to be treated as a separately disclosed item in the Group’s 2025/26 financial results.
Shares in Rank Group plc. (LSE:RNK) were trading 5.12 per cent lower on the news at 100.00 pence per share in London early Monday morning.
