Vancouver-headquartered Jackpot Digital has secured approval to launch its electronic table games (ETGs) with commercial casinos in Michigan.
The approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) enables the supplier to introduce its Jackpot Blitz poker ETGs to the state’s three commercial casinos in Detroit.
Jackpot plans to roll out its initial installations in the first quarter of 2026, marking another major step in the company’s North American growth.
“Receiving our Michigan commercial license is a key milestone in our expansion,” said Jackpot Digital president and CEO Jake Kalpakian. “Michigan’s strong and dynamic gaming market is the perfect stage to introduce our advanced electronic tables to major operators and their players who want cutting-edge technology and seamless entertainment.”
Jackpot Digital is also set to deploy its Jackpot Blitz ETGs at Penn Entertainment’s Boomtown Casino Biloxi and Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast venues in Mississippi during Q1 2026.
They will become the first Penn properties to deploy the games under a Master Agreement between the companies following Jackpot’s recent licence approval in the state.
“We’re excited to take this significant next step in our relationship with Penn Entertainment, one of the largest and most respected gaming operators in North America,” continued Kalpakian. “The upcoming installations at Boomtown Biloxi and Hollywood Gulf Coast mark our first deployments with Penn Entertainment and reflect the growing demand for Jackpot Blitz in regulated gaming markets.”
Shares in Jackpot Digital Inc (CVE:JJ) closed unchanged at C$0.10 per share in Toronto Monday.
