Jackpot Digital has been awarded its first supplier license in the United States by the Maine Gambling Control Unit (MGCU).

The license allows the Vancouver-based company to install its electronic table games in Maine’s gaming venues, including casinos and other regulated gaming facilities.

The company plans to immediately engage with gaming operators in the province to explore opportunities for its product suite, and also confirmed that it is currently in the process of applying for licences in other US states.

“Receiving approval from MGCU is a major accomplishment,” said Jackpot Digital CEO Jake Kalpakian. “Until now, our US licenses have been exclusively through our valued Indian Gaming casino partners, who issue licenses for their respective properties. A state license, however, grants us access to the entire state. We have several additional state licenses pending approval, representing a major expansion opportunity into larger state-regulated commercial casinos.

“More immediately, this MGCU approval enables us to offer Jackpot Blitz to gaming operators across Maine,” Kalpakian added. “We are excited to bring our innovative products to Maine’s gaming community and reinforce our commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology-driven entertainment.”
