Licence approval marks another major step in the company’s regulated market expansion across Europe

Digitain has secured a new licence to supply its live gaming solutions in the regulated Danish online gambling market.

The approval from the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden) represents another significant milestone in Digitain’s expansion across regulated jurisdictions.

So far this year, Digitain has obtained licences in Ontario (Canada), Bulgaria, Isle of Man, and the United Kingdom

“Obtaining the Denmark licence represents another important milestone in Digitain’s regulatory expansion journey and reflects our long-term commitment to operating within highly regulated markets,” said Digitain group chief compliance officer Arshak Muradyan.

“Denmark is recognized for its strong compliance standards and mature gaming ecosystem, making this achievement particularly significant for our continued European growth strategy. We are proud to begin building new partnerships in the market and bringing our live gaming solutions to Danish operators.”

Denmark’s gambling market generated revenue of DKK2.08 billion (approx. €278.3 million) in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 12 per cent year-on-year. Of this total, DKK1.12 billion came from online casino gaming and DKK578.0 million from sports betting.
