Operator goes live in 19th US jurisdiction with Nation’s Capital launch
bet365 has launched its online sportsbook in Washington DC, supported by a multi-year partnership with sports team owner Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE).
The launch marks the latest step in the operator’s continued expansion across North America, where it is now live in 19 US jurisdictions.
DC bettors now have access to bet365’s extensive sportsbook, including markets across more than 100 sports, live betting and in-game features.
Alongside its DC launch, bet365 has entered a multi-year partnership with MSE to become a partner of the Washington Capitals (NHL), Washington Wizards (NBA), and Washington Mystics (WNBA), establishing a year-round presence alongside three of the city’s professional sports teams.
“Bringing bet365 to our nation’s capital expands our reach in the US and establishes our presence in one of the country’s most dynamic sports markets,” said Trip Stoddard, head of development at bet365. “Our partnership with Monumental Sports & Entertainment gives us an exciting opportunity to introduce bet365 to Capitals, Wizards and Mystics fans and build lasting connections across Washington, D.C.”
The partnership will also integrate bet365 into DC fan experiences across Monumental Sports Network (MNMT) and team broadcasts.
Fans will see bet365 through virtual signage during Capitals games and pre-game and in-game commercials across Capitals, Wizards and Mystics broadcasts.
bet365 will also serve as presenting sponsor of Monumental Game Center, MNMT’s feature that provides users the option to integrate real-time sports betting odds and gamification options into live game streams for the Capitals, Wizards and Mystics.
