The Responsible Gambling Trust (RGT) has released the findings of research into the gambling habits of UK bingo club patrons, highlighting potential areas of concern for people at risk of developing a gambling problem.

The survey revealed that a small number of regular bingo club visitors can be classed as problem gamblers, with a further 9 per cent considered at risk of developing a gambling problem.

Commissioned by the RGT and the Bingo Association and carried out by Ipsos MORI and Dr Heather Wardle, the survey revealed that 2.5 per cent of club regulars can be classified as problem gamblers.
