Sports betting solutions provider SBTech has been selected by New Jersey's Resorts Casino Hotel to power its online and retail sportsbook.

The agreement marks SBTech's second contract win in the United States following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn the sports betting ban under the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act.

The SBTech partnership enables Resorts to launch a fully-integrated omni-channel sports betting solution, including mobile-focused features such as SBTech's ive betting innovation Pulse Bet and bet builder solution Your Bet.

Resorts will also outsource its risk management and trading to SBTech, which will launch a bespoke risk management strategy for the casino, allowing it to differentiate its odds and offering from competitors.

The Resorts deal follows SBTech's multi-jurisdictional partnership with Churchill Downs, which was announced in May.

"Our strategic partnership with Resorts represents the next stage of our long-planned penetration of the US market," SBTech chief executive Richard Carter said.

"SBTech's renowned commitment to delivering leading-edge solutions across all channels and intelligent responsible gaming infrastructure will help us develop a sports betting offering that will benefit our partners and promote best practice and the strongest levels of consumer protection."

Resorts president and CEO Mark Giannantonio added: "After conducting a comprehensive selection process to find the right sports betting supplier, we feel that SBTech offers the right combination of deep regulatory expertise in the world's most dynamic and demanding markets and the scalability to support our ambitious multi-vertical plans."
