FOX Bet, the US joint venture between FOX Sports and The Stars Group, has launched its PokerStars brand in Pennsylvania’s regulated iGaming market.

PokerStars is the first poker operator to launch in the state, with a selection of popular games, tournaments, and promotional offers available at, including fast-paced cash games and Sunday tournaments with big prizes.

“Finally, PokerStars is available in my hometown and I couldn't be more thrilled,” said Pennsylvanian and PokerStars ambassador Jennifer Shahade. “Players in Pennsylvania have been looking forward to this day, and I can't wait to be a part of all the action.”

FOX Bet has also launched PokerStars Casino under its licensing deal with Mount Airy Casino Resort, giving players access to in-house developed slots and other titles from leading third-party studios, as well as table and live casino games such as roulette and blackjack.

The launch of PokerStars and PokerStars Casino follows FOX Bet’s debut in the state in September.

Shares in The Stars Group Inc (TSX:TSGI) were trading at CAD$28.25 per share in Toronto early Tuesday.
