IG Group has reported a 14 per cent drop in revenues to £169.0m for the six month period ended November 30th, following continued subdued markets which have impacted client activity.
IG said that its results reflected the “particularly tough” comparators which the company faced due to the extreme levels of volatility in financial markets in 2011.
Revenues fell across all of the company’s geographic regions during H1, with the biggest decline seen in the UK and Europe.
