Higher online marketing costs impact WMS profits in Q3

US gaming supplier WMS Industries has significantly increased its online marketing costs in order to expand the player base for its growing interactive products and services division, which now accounts for nearly 10 per cent of total revenues.

WMS said that growth from its interactive gaming operations helped to offset a decline in overall product sales revenues during the third quarter ended March 31st.
