Camelot has achieved another record-breaking year for the UK National Lottery, with total sales for 2012 increasing by 7per cent to an all-time high of £6,977.9m.
Camelot said that it delivered its highest-ever annual returns to the Good Causes and prize payouts to players as it achieved record sales during the year.
The year also saw Camelot meet its target of raising £750m for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games from sales of specially-designated lottery games [...]
