US racing and gaming operator Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has reported a 7 per cent increase in net revenue to a record US$779.3m for the full 2013 year, despite results from the company’s online gaming business impacted by the cessation of wagering in Texas last September.
Net revenue during the fourth quarter of the year rose 3 per cent to a record $162.4m, following a strong performance from CDI’s gaming operations.
