Austrian online gaming operator Interwetten has reported revenue of €22m for the first half of 2014, following a strong performance from its mobile offering which accounted for more than 60 per cent of bets placed during the World Cup.
Interwetten said it was a “very positive” first half for the company, with the unexpected results and performances during the World Cup contributing “significantly” to its results.
