China’s lottery market saw sales increase by 24 per cent to RMB312.1bn (€40.8bn) for the ten month period ended October 31st, with the year-to-date figure already surpassing total lottery sales generated in 2013.
It follows growth of 20 per cent to RMB32.7bn during the month of October, with lottery sales up during the past two months, having hit a monthly high of RMB37.2bn in July as a result of the football World Cup.
