Investment in iGaming pays off and brings record annual revenue for SIGA in its 30th year of operation

The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA) has reported a 10.6 per cent increase in gross gaming revenue to a record $418 million for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.

While SIGA’s seven land-based casino performed well during the year, the biggest growth came from iGaming, where gross revenue increased by 23.4 per cent to $31.6 million, with PlayNow.com growing to 59,080 registered users across the Canadian province.

Within iGaming, online casino generated $27.8 million in gross revenue, while live dealer contributed $2.9 million and sports betting a further $1 million.

Overall, SIGA’s net revenue for the year increased by 11.5 per cent to $217.5 million, with slot revenue up 13.9 per cent at $166.2 million to offset a 0.4 per cent drop in net revenue from ancillary operations to $26.7 million. Net revenue from table games fell by 8.2 per cent to $12.2 million, while iGaming net revenue rose 38 per cent to $12.4 million.

This helped SIGA post record-breaking profit for the fourth year in a row, including a final distribution of income of $167 million (+14.4 per cent) for FY26.

“2025–26 was a year defined by growth, progress, and continued investment in the people and communities at the heart of SIGA’s mission,” said SIGA president & CEO Zane Hansen. “We are proud to share that SIGA has delivered record-breaking financial results for the fourth year running.

“Gross gaming revenue reached $418 million, and our final distribution of income was $167 million. As a 30-year gaming operator, we continue to evolve and make substantial investments into our casino properties, online gaming, and in giving back to the communities where we live and work.

SIGA is as a non-profit corporation and reinvests all net income back into Saskatchewan.

To date, over $1.9 billion has been paid out by SIGA to First Nations communities, Community Development Corporations (CDCs) and to the Province’s General Revenue fund.
