IG Group adjusts client account terms after Ombudsman ruling

London-listed financial spread betting and CFD provider IG Group will compensate some of its customers by £1m following the outcome of a client case at the UK’s Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

The client case related to events surrounding the Swiss Franc debacle at the beginning of this year, which saw a number of customers lose money as the value of the Swiss franc surged.
