French gaming operator Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU) has described its third quarter results as better than expected, despite a fall in gross gaming revenue during the period.
The former horse racing monopoly saw total amounts wagered in the third quarter drop by 2.2 per cent to €7.2bn compared to a year ago, with total gross gaming revenue (GGR) down 2.5 per cent to €1.8bn.
