Amaya revenue beats guidance as customer registrations hit 100m

Amaya has reported a 15 per cent increase in revenue to CAD$389.5m for the final quarter of 2015, as growth in casino and sports betting offset a decline in poker revenue.

Poker revenue was down 4 per cent year-on-year, primarily as a result of foreign exchange impacts and the levy of value added taxes (VAT) in certain European jurisdictions, as well as the previously reported suspension of operations in Portugal, Greece and other countries.
