London-listed spread betting and CFD provider Plus500 has reported a 25 per cent increase in revenue to US$158.8m for the first half of 2016, driven by a successful online marketing campaign which attracted a record number of new customers.
The company said the six month period had seen it deliver record revenue and profit, as well as a record number of active customers.
