Spain’s regulated iGaming market recorded a 29 per cent increase in gross gaming revenue (GGR) to €163.6m during the first quarter of 2018.
Sports betting represented just over half of the total at €81.9m, having seen GGR grow by 16 per cent year-on-year. Of the total, 62 per cent (€51.1m) was generated from live betting and €28.6m from pre-match betting. Horse racing betting contributed just €1.3m to the total.
