West Virginia sports betting market declines in June

West Virginia’s regulated sports betting market declined in June as the state’s three licensed operators collected total sports betting stakes of $7.4m.

This marks a 31 per cent drop in stakes versus the previous month’s $10.4m total, with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races continuing to dominate the market.

Hollywood Casino generated total betting stakes of $5.4m during the four-week period ended 29 June, although this was a decline of 29 per cent month-on-month.
