Investment firm Apollo Global Management has confirmed that it will not be submitting a bid to acquire British bookmaker and gaming operator William Hill.
Apollo had made two bids to acquire William Hill beginning in August of this year, competing with a bid from Caesars Entertainment which included a clause to terminate the US sports betting agreement with William Hill in the event that it was acquired by a company that Caesars does not approve of.
