The UK-licenced betting concierge service BetButler has ceased trading while it considers an offer from a third-party to acquire its client database, customer balances and liabilities.
The odds comparison and bet placing service launched in 2011 under a gaming licence from the UK Gambling Commission.
In recent months, however, the site has been accused by its customers of failing to honour cash-out requests, while the Gambling Commission also acknowledged possible issues with the operator.
