National Basketball Association (NBA) team the Philadelphia 76ers has acquired controlling stakes in eSports franchises Team Dignitas and Team Apex, with the pair to be merged into one enlarged entity.
The combined teams will play under the Team Dignitas banner, combining Apex’s League of Legends team with other games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Heroes of the Storm and Smite.
