PokerStars parent The Stars Group has sold its 7.5 per cent stake in London-listed online casino and bingo operator Jackpotjoy for approximately £45m.
The Stars Group’s indirect subsidiary Stars Interactive Holdings has sold 5,561,666 ordinary shares in Jackpotjoy, its entire holding, through an accelerated bookbuilding process to institutional investors.
The company had initially intended to sell up to 2,800,000 shares in Jackpotjoy before increasing the size of the placement due to strong investor demand.
