Indian poker site Mercury Poker has been acquired by Poker Nation, a rival site owned by conglomerate Essel Group.
The acquisition sees all Mercury players migrated to the Poker Nation platform, with MercuryPoker.com taken offline on February 12th, ahead of the relaunch today (February 14th) under the Poker Nation brand.
Both sites operate skins on MPN India, Microgaming's ring-fenced poker network for the Indian market, which offers play exclusively in Rupees.
