Sweden’s licensed online and land-based gambling market grew by 5 per cent to SEK6.2bn (€608.7m) in the first quarter of 2021.
According to the latest data from the Swedish tax authority, gross gaming revenue (GGR) from commercial online betting and gaming accounted for nearly two-thirds of the total with GGR of SEK3.9bn, up 8 per cent compared to the same period last year.
