Iowa’s regulated retail and online sports betting market has seen total wagers more than double to $2.46bn during the 2021/22 fiscal year, with wagers in June climbing 10 per cent to $122.4m.
June’s year-on-year growth was driven by an 18 per cent rise in online sports wagers to $111.9m, offsetting a 34 per cent fall in retail wagers to $10.5m.
