Iowa’s licensed sports betting operators struggled in September as overall wagers declined by 7 per cent compared to a year ago to $200.2m.
After a solid start to the new fiscal year, Iowa’s online sportsbook wagers fell year-on-year for the first time this year, as online sportsbook wagers decreased by 8 per cent to $177.6m, with retail sports wagers falling 5 per cent to $22.6m.
