China’s lottery sales increased by 52 per cent to RMB428.53 billion (€55.47 billion) in the first nine months of 2023, after September’s sales climbed to RMB52.77 billion.
Sales of the Welfare Lottery were up by 48 per cent to RMB18.21 billion in September, as instant win sales almost trebled to RMB6.32 billion.
Lotto game sales were RMB8.41 billion, a rise of 11 per cent year-on-year, and Keno sales increased by 37 per cent to RMB3.49 billion.
