Macau’s casinos reported a strong finish to 2023, with gaming revenue of MOP18.57 billion (€2.09 billion) in December, the second-best month of the year.
December’s revenue meant that gaming revenue in Q4 2023 was MOP54.11 billion, up more than five-fold on the MOP10.38 billion in the final quarter of 2022.
Visitor numbers to Macau in November were 2.58 million and took the total for 2023 above 25 million people. December’s figures are yet to be published.
