France’s annual gambling revenue rose by 4 per cent to a new record of €13.4 billion in 2023, with all sectors of French gambling showing year-on-year growth.
Française des Jeux (FDJ) reported revenue of €6.64 billion in 2023, which was a new high for the business, although all the growth came from sports betting and poker rather than lottery games.
