Iowa’s licensed sports betting operators collected total wagers of $19.6m during the first 17 days of March, prior to the closure of venues due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Total wagers were down 66 per cent compared to the previous month’s $56.9m, with online sports betting accounting for $13.3m in wagers and retail sportsbooks the remaining $6.3m.
