Swedish casino games developer NetEnt has revealed that it has already paid out a total of €7.6m in jackpots to three players in three different countries at the start of this year.

Its been a good start to the year for three lucky winners, each becoming millionaires after winning big on the supplier’s slot games.

The largest sum was €3.4m, won on January 15th by a Finnish player in their forties. The individual, playing on Paf.com, won the life-changing sum playing NetEnt’s Mega Fortune Dreams game, after placing a bet of just €4.

Two days later, on January 17th, a UK-based Casumo player scooped a sum of almost €2.7m on the supplier’s Mega Fortune game.

Finally a Norwegian player on the Intertain-owned Vera&John site won a €1.6m jackpot on Hall of Gods, having placed a bet of just €0.40.

NetEnt has paid out more than €250m over the years to its clients' customers, turning 55 players from ten countries into millionaires overnight. This includes a record mobile jackpot of €8.6m, paid out to a player on ComeOn Casino in December last year.

“NetEnt’s games are designed to excite, entertain and reward our players so we are thrilled to have created three new multi-millionaires in less than a week,” NetEnt chief product officer Simon Hammon commented.

“We’re already looking forward to the next big jackpot win – at this rate, I’m sure it will drop soon.”
