BetHard Group-owned gaming brand LetsBet.com has paid out a multi-million Euro jackpot to a Swedish player on NetEnt’s Mega Fortune progressive slot game.

LetsBet said that the player won the life changing amount of €6.7m just three hours after signing up to the online casino.

The player won SEK61.4m (€6.0m) with Mega Fortune jackpot, boosted by NetEnt's Mega Millions campaign, which paid out a further €650,000 for hitting the Mega Jackpot.

“I was on vacation and just felt like playing a bit,” said the Swedish winner. “I am not sure yet what I will use the winnings for, apart from sharing it with my closest ones and perhaps some more vacation.”

LetsBet.com CEO and co-founder Michael Pedersen added: “I can’t even begin to imagine what it feels like seeing a €6m jackpot suddenly hit your account balance and at the same time also win the Mega Millions bonus of an extra €650,000.

“LetsBet.com is all about players looking for thrilling casino entertainment within a social atmosphere. Every evening players can interact with our Live Hosts who stream their casino talk-show daily and entertain players with extra competitions, game reviews and gossip, all while players are playing their favourite games – it’s double entertainment basically.”

NetEnt chief product officer Henrik Fagerlund commented: “Mega Million has been a huge success and we are thrilled that the final whistle has blown on our World Cup-themed campaign with the biggest Mega Fortune jackpot winner for two years.

“It is also further proof that NetEnt games are regular millionaire-makers, with this being the ninth seven-figure jackpot winner in 2018.”
