London-listed gaming supplier Playtech has announced the launch of an expanded bingo offering in Italy.

The expanded bingo platform includes the addition of two-line prize and 75 ball UK bingo, as well as other variants that are compliant with new regulations introduced by the Italian gaming regulator.

These games have gone live through Sisal, Snai and William Hill, with additional launches planned in the coming months.

Playtech will also be able to roll out additional features on a broader variety of platforms, including HMTL5 desktop, mobile and tablet clients, as well as iOS and Android native apps.

“Becoming the first platform in Italy to make the most of the updated protocol is a significant moment in developing our offer in what is an important market,” said Playtech managing director of digital bingo Angus Nisbet. “The speed with which we have been able to expand our offering in Italy reflects our commitment to growing and building our offering in new and existing regulated markets.”

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) gained 2.44 per cent to 440.50 pence per share in London Tuesday morning.
