The European Commission has approved the extension granted to OPAP to operate 13 games of chance in Greece on an exclusive basis until 2030, as well as its exclusive licence to operate 35,000 Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) until 2022, stating that the “adequate fee” paid by the company for the exclusive rights means that it has not received any undue economic advantage.
