PokerStars chief executive Mark Scheinberg has agreed to forfeit the sum of $50m to the United States in a final settlement with the Department of Justice for his role as a major shareholder in the company.
The settlement has no bearing on the ongoing case against PokerStars founder Isai Scheinberg or the company’s agreed settlement with the US Department of Justice.
